Cochin Shipyard Job Vacancy 2023 Age Limits
The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 07 October 2023, i.e. applicants should be born or after 07 October 1993.
- Minimum Age – 18 Years
Cochin Shipyard Job Vacancy 2023 Age Relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
- OBC (Non Creamy Layer) – 3 years
- SC/ST candidates – 05 Years
Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India Guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 45 years.
Cochin Shipyard Job Vacancy 2023 Selection Process
Only candidates who are domicile of Kerala shall be considered. Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. In case, same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in passing year.
- Mark Basis
Candidates short-listed for the certificate verification prior to selection should bring the original certificates towards proof of age, qualification, percentage of mark, caste, disability (if any) etc. and self-attested copies of all these certificates, for verification and their candidature shall be considered on the strength of the original certificates. In case of failure to produce the original certificates, the candidature shall be rejected.
