Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialists in APVVP Hospitals under the control of Commissioner, APVVP on Regular/Contract basis. Local candidates are eligible to apply for the regular/contract recruitment. Non Local Candidates can also apply; however, they will be considered only for the contractual appointment. Further, if local candidates are not fitting into roster points, age limit etc., they will be eligible for contract basis recruitment. The contractual appointment is initially for a period of one year and extendable depending upon the satisfactory services of the doctor and the other eligibility criteria .

HMFW Selection Process :
a. Merit list will be prepared for all the candidates who attended walk in recruitment and submitted the applications. Merit list will be prepared based on the following marks matrix.
b. Total Marks:100
c. 65% will be allocated for aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in
P.G.Diploma or any other equivalent qualification.
c. In addition 10% will be allocated for P.G.Degree/DNB/Equivalent qualification.
d. Those who are not having PG marks memo or grade, percent age of marks to
be taken as 50% (50%x75=37.50). It is the responsibility of the candidate to
obtain and submit marks memos from the competent authorities where ever
grades instead of marks are issued.
