Mahatma Gandhi University Recruitment 2023 : Walk-in-interview for the selection of Guest/ Contract Faculty for the following Departments/ Schools of the University will be conducted at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Hall on the dates specified in the Schedule attached hereunder. The appointment will be purely on contract basis for a period of one academic year (June 15, 2023 to April 15, 2024) and likely to be extended for another 2 years based on the annual performance appraisal report.

Mahatma Gandhi University Recruitment 2023 Maximum Age :
70 Years
As per UGC Regulations regarding appointment of Assistant Professors. Teachers who retired from Colleges/ Universities will also be considered subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall be 70 years as on 01.01.2023.
Mahatma Gandhi University Recruitment 2023 Salary Details :
Maximum – 43,750 Per Month
₹1750/- per day subject to a maximum of ₹43,750/- per month for UGC qualified hands (In the absence of UGC qualified hands, non UGC candidates will be considered with a remuneration of ₹1600/- per day subject to a maximum of ₹40,000/-Per Month.

Schedule Of Interview
All candidates are requested to report ONE HOUR before the scheduled time of the interview with duly filled proforma attached with this notification and signed hardcopies of the original documents to prove age, community reservation, qualifications ( Mark list and Degree Certificates) /Specialization, proof that the journals are approved by UGC / peer reviewed, experience certificate, awards, proof for CGPA to percentage conversion and proof of all other additional qualifications..
General Condition :
- The intial period of appointment is for one academic year which is extendable for another two more years based on the annual performance report.
- For the post reserved for a particular community or a group of communities as mentioned above, only the persons belonging to that community or group of communities need to apply. Reservation rotation is specified in serial order against the vacancies of each School.
- Applicants for post under community reservation quota shall submit community certificate and Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued this year by the authorities concerned, those who apply for EWS reservation should bring EWS certificate (State Govt.Criteria) at the time of interview. Non Creamy Layer Certificate need not be furnished by applicants for the post reserved for SC and
ST communities. - Natives of states other than Kerala need not apply for the post notified exclusively under community reservation quota.
- Degree obtained from Universities/ institutions outside the state of Kerala shall be accompanie by equivalency/eligibility certificate obtained from this University.
- The Guest Faculty recruitment will be strictly in adherence with the provisions envisaged in the
University Order No. 6853/AD A5/2021/MGU dated 10.12.2021.
